A helping hand for glaucoma patients

A story of pressure and anti-oxidants

One of the key ways glaucoma presents is a build-up of pressure in the eye. There is evidence that this pressure stresses the nerve cells in the back of the eye, called Retinal Ganglion Cells (RGCs). RGCs transmit messages from the eyes to the brain, and are therefore crucial for sight. Once RGCs die due to the damage caused by glaucoma, they are not replaced.

COQUN is a complementary treatment to antihypertensive glaucoma therapy. It is a sterile, preservative-free solution containing Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and Vitamin E-TPGS. COQUN helps to protect the RGCs by providing additional CoQ10 directly to the cells. The CoQ10 in COQUN provides the cells with additional energy and protection through its antioxidant properties.

COQUN is provided in a preservative-free multidose bottle and can be used while wearing contact lenses. (Please note that COQUN is NOT a replacement for pressure lowering (antihypertensive) glaucoma drops.)
