UltraQ Reflex

Optimized for anterior and posterior YAG laser treatments.

Whether you are performing anterior or posterior capsulotomy with new generation IOLs, peripheral iridotomy for glaucoma or YAG laser vitreolysis for the treatment of vitreous strands and opacities, the Ultra Q Reflex™ delivers higher accuracy and greater control Reflex Technology™ comprises Ellex’s proprietary slit lamp illumination tower design, which converges the operator’s vision, the target illumination and the treatment beam onto the same optical path, and focuses them onto the same optical plane – offering optimized visualization and illumination of the vitreous. This is of particular importance when aiming at vitreous strands or opacities, as it greatly minimizes the potential for focusing errors, and the risk of damage to the natural lens or the retina.

The unique illumination mirror design, which briefly moves out of the laser pathway during firing, ensures that the laser beam is never obstructed. This minimizes the risk of underdosing or over-dosing the energy, ensuring that the desired therapeutic effect is achieved. In addition, the precision of a two-point aiming system and the wide offset range ensure accurate positioning of the optical breakdown, thus preserving surrounding tissue from accidental damage.

Featuring an Ultra Gaussian Beam Mode, teamed with a fast pulse rise time, the Ultra Q Reflex™ from Ellex achieves optical breakdown at the industry’s lowest energy levels – allowing you to perform treatments in both the anterior and posterior segments with a reduced risk of side effects.
